Steps
This is our standard process to ensure that your project runs smoothly and is well-organized. We have refined these steps as a result of our experience in this industry.
1. The Initial Consultation
- You give us your ideas
- We listen carefully
- We outline the renovation process
2. Feasibility Study
- We study the physical layout
- We review blueprints, land plats and surveys as needed
- We obtain initial bids from subcontractors and material suppliers
- We give you a preliminary estimate of the cost
3. Concept Design and Price Planning
- Both parties sign a Design Agreement specifying the scope of design services requested
- We provide an architect or designer to assist with preparation of drawings if necessary
- You approve conceptual drawings
- We prepare work scope and specifications
- You select appliances, floor coverings, specialty items, etc.
- We obtain specific bids from subcontractors and suppliers based on final drawings
- We present the final drawings and cost projections to you
- Both parties agree on and sign a Construction Contract
4. Pre-Construction
- We prepare construction documents
- We obtain building permits
- We conduct pre-construction meetings
- We prepare site to minimize impact on homeowners
- Project begins
5. During Construction
- Project manager visits site daily and is available by phone to answer any questions
- Site is swept broom clean each day and given a detailed cleaning each Friday
- Subcontractors’ work is closely monitored and given a final inspection by the project manager as they complete their trade
- You are kept updated on the progress of the project
- Project manager is available to perform a walk through with you at any point
6. Project Completion
- We conduct a final walk-through of the entire project with you
- We both agree on a “finish list”
- Items on finish list are resolved
- One year warranty period begins
